Steve Johnson Jr. is a composer, performer and educator. He holds a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Rhode Island College. Steve is active performer in Rhode Island playing with cover and original bands such as The Rockin’ Soul Horns, Get Up and the Unibrows.

Ryan’s contribution to the Inner Voices project was very in-depth and diverse, much like the talented musician He is. Ryan explains his musical background very simply: as a kid, his parents wanted him to learn piano. Eventually, after enough piano lessons, Ryan leaned how to play the drums! Years later Ryan was introduced to a fun looking instrument called the vibraphone! Essentially, combining the important features of piano and percussion! Ryan gives lessons on all his instruments. Ryan also plays & composes with the progressive jazz/post rock band Interplay! He is also a member of the 2 man collaboration Dusty Frames, a creative project that involves each of the 2 members simultaneously filling multiple musical roles, such as drums, glockenspiel, electric piano, bass guitar and electric guitar. The 2 man musical multi-tasking concept makes for a very entertaining live set!

Rufus has contributed his rhythmic influence on various musical projects, ranging from fully produced pop music studio albums, to progressive jazz/post-rock ensembles. Notable achievements include; studio recording for musician/songwriter Gavin Castleton, in which Rufus recorded on the entire 2009 full length LP, HOME. Other Walk of the Earth Productions include an upcoming debut album by the soulful and thought provoking artist Erin Boyea! Rufus’ true passion is progressive jazz/post-rock rhythms as can be heard by the experimental music collaboration, Interplay!

Robert Hanna is the owner/lead producer of Walk of the Earth Productions. Rob has been a musician for 15 years, writing, performing and recording music across the Northeast; most notably with the internationally recognized psychedelic/fusion rock ensemble, Moments of Imagination. He has spent time working, studying and overseeing projects in renowned studios, such as Ocean Way Studios (Nashville), Sterling Sound (NY), Sound Station Seven (RI) and Triad Recording (RI).

Since the inception of Walk of the Earth Productions in 2005, Rob has engineered and produced recordings for dozens of regional bands and artists while harnessing the power of the studio to record and release his own creative projects. Other than CD album releases, these projects have included stints with film recording, television work and live event recording.

He has most recently spent some time studying at Ocean Way Studios with some of music’s greatest, including Jerry Douglas, Bob Ezrin (of Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel), Bil Vorndick (of Bela Fleck and James Taylor), Kyle Ford (of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ Raising Sand) and Steve Fishell (of Emmylou Harris). http://www.walkoftheearth.com

Yanna Kiriacopoulos has been playing music for 15+ years in chamber ensembles, orchestras, theatre productions and local bands. Along with transcription work, she has done numerous recordings for the likes of California Smile, Babies in Limbo and Leather Bastard. She plays violin, cello, upright bass and viola. She also knows, “maybe about 10 chords on guitar,…” When she’s not playing music she’s listening to it. She also likes spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Frankie is a self employed music teacher of guitar & saxophone. A graduate from UMASS (Lowell) with a Bachelor in Music Performance & Music/Audio. Frankie has been involved in many well known & influential musical projects, including being an original member of ska band, The Agents. Frankie has toured internationally with the reggae sensation, Soulshot, and has also recently joined new forces to establish a hip & exciting new project called Boo City!

Dennis Hughes: Playing professionally since 1982. Received an Associate of Fine Arts Degree from the Community College of RI. Received a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Composition and Arranging from Berklee College of Music. Leader and member of the band Brass Force for 24 years. Teaching piano, keyboard and composition since 1987. Have performed with members of the band Tower of Power including Ellis Hall. Also performed with Blood Sweat and Tears, Chuck Mangione, Joe Piscapo, John Stamos among others. Currently working on a CD and playing on 3 others in the works.
